+1, at least. I thought his work with Muddy Waters was fantastic.

I'd guess "criminally," as in:
adverb: criminally
...
2.INFORMAL
to a shocking degree.
"one of his most criminally underappreciated films"

...And a very colorful character: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Winter

I'm not sure if you're ribbing me for misspelling. Or if English is not your 1st language but I meant JW is so underrated it's a crime. He almost never comes up in conversations about great guitarist. I think he's mind blowing. I've never been into technical neoclassical shredders.

Edit: I see you're from NC so I assume your ribbing me. My poor grammar skills ain't my fault. I blame the public school system.

I thought it'd been some kinda sophisticated malaprop punning, and awaiting Miles to pipe up with key to unlocking it ..

Yea I was hoping he would show up too. Haven't heard from him in a while. Hope he's doing well.

I saw Johnny Winter at the Fillmore in the mid-late ‘80’s… this day he was the most impressive guitar player I’ve ever seen—and I’ve seen many amazing players since.

Well in this case, Johnny is crimanly.

And thanks for that Cbass. My new favorite version of Red House. I don't think I've heard Johnny since the Still Alive and Well album.
That and The Second album were in heavy rotation back in the day.
