Don't know what browser you are using but Edge (and probably Chrome) allow a lot of control over what you delete. Take a look at your browser. You may be surprised at how selective you can be.

Dumb phone . I have to fight the wife for access to the computer . Technical discussion came back up for me . Who knows

Yeah usually it's just chrome sucking a lot. I hate how badly it poisons it's own cache. I used it all day every day for work and find all kinds of times when I go "wait why is that service/site down, lets try another browser, oh nope it's fine, it's chrome again"
