I thought the video was going a 10 second short where he would just sawz-all the neck off and call it "fixed".

I thought the same thing at first. Now I want to buy some crowning files so I can try it

I watch several luthiers on YT for entertainment. (OK, I need to get a life.) My first reaction was, it won't work. This looks like it might be real innovation. IMO, the whole goal in automation is to give relief from "donkey work," which is generally not profitable. It looks like he really gets there. I figure there is a pretty tight luthier community where they watch each others' videos and likely have actual live conversations. If this really does work, it will go viral pdq. Good share. Thanks.

Definitely saves some work.I would sure f up a top in an instant. I think I'd still go with the hand file on the upper frets
