I was just notified that my CapOne Visa # was shut down along with a whole bunch of others do to a compromised database somewhere. CapOne was notified by the merchant of the compromise apparently yesterday. I don't know of many that store my account number so it may actually have been through BofA and billpayer. We cycle much of our spending through there to get the miles.
Anybody else get a closure notice??
Dan

No but I'm Bank O' California. I'm always thinking about this kind of crap everytime I make a transaction and it would really freakin' hurt to get hit. I hope they clamped your account down before the bastids got anything from you. That's such a drag, I wish you the best of luck reconciling this problem, NG I got 'em in my sights---[IMG:90:60]http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r222 ... tzkopf.gif[/img]
