I just banished myself from another forum because freedom of speech is always acknowledged for the left, seldom if ever for the right. More's the pity.

When the camera panned the audience durning Pres. Elect Obama's speech last night I was reminded somehow of those old black and white films of the Hitler Youth enjoying Der Furr's enlightenment.

One proposal that has already been floated on the floor of the House is the Nationalization of 401 retirement plans. Won't go anywhere but scary never the less. America works best with divided government.

The country's only hope is that he goes ahead with plans to tax us out of the recession we're in. The last guy to try that was Herbert Hoover. That tactic will cost him both houses of congress come 2010. Then back to divided government. Hurrah!

Oh, and for those of you who hope he will bring manufacturing back to America here's some news. The only way he can accomplish that is to nationalize the means of production. That won't go anywhere either. Oh what to do, what to do.

I hear you. It just seems politics and religion are two topics that really bring the out worst in people. Name calling, accusation, stereotyping etc. They really polarize.

So that's my opinion . Your right I can ignore any topic I want.

Interesting and historic, for sure. Obama reminds me of my recent express build. Great tone, totally brings the rock! But there's just something that doesn't seem quite right. Wait, it's that annoying, incessant hiss. :-)

Just kidding!!!!!!

I trust things will work itself out in Washington, and in my amp. :-)

(whew!) When I read the post early this morning after only the first two posts, I got myself all worked up about what I was going to say when I got back home. And I probably wouldn't have said it as well as those who posted already. I may think Mr Obama is way on the wrong track, but I still love this country and balieve in what it was meant to be. On top of that, after 8 years of pure hatred shown to one of our persidents, I'm going to draw the line and refues to carry that same torch for the other side. I'm going to take a page form the good book by praying for my country and doing my best to honor its laws and leaders.

4 years of Obama? Bring it on. (group hug)

Alright, back to soldering.
