Local late '70s twin

Post by skyboltone »

I think SWMBO might stress my rectifier tube but the local Craigslist offering has me gassing. $495. It's got a pair of Pyle speakers in it????? Lunatic. Maybe he was trying to quiet it down. I'd like to stick a pair of Weber Cal 12"s in it maybe.

The one I used as a kid; (belonged to the band lead guy) was a black face just about maybe 1966. Right at the change. We used to play two venues with over a thousand dancers and hanger outers and it would sure speak to the place. Anyway, this local one is a master volume and comes with four extra tubes (hehehehehehe....right)

No way I'm Dumbleing it if I get the thing but what else could a guy do with one?

Yesterday was my birthday but I'm trying to maneuver and manipulate myself into a Gilmour strat so this thing is not quite driving me nutz yet. I been yankin' the hairs in my nostrils three, maybe four times a day with the "Please Honey?". I could promise to stop pestering her for sex for a month but that won't work because she's the one pestering me most of the time. Age is grand ain't it?? Wisdom is better and I'm acquiring it as fast as I can via musical equipage.

And anyway, screw all you bastards under the age of 59.

Though most of me is gonna be 49 in August, the donor tissue in my left knee might qualify me for AARP! What else would account for sudden, unexplained compulsions to wear Hush Puppies?

LOL!

If you're still pestering every day at 59 then you're good to go!

I'm still a young pup at 46.
I will shut up. :D
