I'm trying to stretch a .jpg layout across several pages...
in order to make assembling this amp easier.
I'm not having much luck. I successfully used Irfanview to
make a much larger file, but printing has been unsuccessful.
I have an Epson color photo printer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know what you are trying to do but I fine it easier to send my files to my local print shop and they blow them up to 11 x 17 for me.

What I do on my HP Inkjet printer is on the Features tab of the printer preferences there is a poster mode.
I choose that and pick the 2x2 4 sheet mode.
Then when it prints out, it prints lines where you cut with scissors and then tape it all together.
Works great for layouts or templates.

I tried three printers, not very high quality mind you but I cannot get the printers to do what you said Tom with the poster mode. But I am not very savvy when it comes to software.

It may be a feature found only HP printers.
That's the only brand I have used so I'm used to it.
When I click on print a window pops up with the settings that says Print.
Then I choose Preferences.
Then the Features tab.
The poster feature is there.

First of all, you need a high resolution picture to be able to produce a full size photo of the chassis. I created the composite attached from Francesca pics posted on Amp Garage. At 72 ppi, the full size of the picture is over 57" x 28"! If your picture is 5" x 7" at 72 ppi and you try to enlarge it, it won't give you a very clear picture.Bob Simpson wrote:I'm trying to stretch a .jpg layout across several pages...
So, take your picture at the highest resolution you can. Let's say that is 300ppi. In your photo manipulation program, change the resolution to 72 ppi, and, voila, your image is suddenly much bigger. When I print from Photoshop Elements to my Epson printer, It lets me move the image around in the print window to get whatever portion of the overly large image I want. I do that several times until I get enough images to tape together to make the full image. With this composite, I ended up with a 48" x 24" picture that I used as my build layout.
Or take your picture to a copy shop and let them enlarge it for you

48" x24"
You can use it for wallpaper later. No not computer desktop wallpaper.
Work shop, but not living room or bed room.
That would piss the wife off.

In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird , and they take Prozac to make it normal.

Believe it or not, MS Paint will tile a big picture like that. I don't know if I'd use it for fine detail in mechanical drawings, but I've used it for schematics before.
Oh, and I don't know if I'd hang the finished product on the wall, either
