5E3 Cager

Post by RWood »

Mark inspired me to try hammond cages.
Tried to make 5E3 PTP small as possible. 6"x10" chassis could still be reduced to 5"x9" easily.
3 way toggle for NFB/cathode bypass/normal.

If it don't get hot and glow, I don't want it !

Nice looking cage amp.

Easy to condense with PTP wiring, cheaper since the chassis and cage and bottom plate enclose it all.

People seem to want these amps in pairs :)

Arched handle from Lowes. I'll try to get gutshot tomorrow.

BTW... Every 5E3 should have switched normal/nfb/cathode bypass mod. It turns the so-called one trick pony into three distinctively different amps!
