That's a bug, not a feature.
I build and repair tube amps. http://amps.monkeymatic.com

In thru the input jack I would guess?
When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather did, peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming like the passengers in his car!😊

I would guess, the chassis was securely in the cabinet.

I knew a bunch of scuzbos in a scuzzy NYC apt long ago in the scuzzy days, little tiny roaches would walk in and out of the tascam cassette mixer-recorder thing they had. You would just sit there and watch it, the roaches didn't even scurry if you where there using it. Like little house pets living in a warm little doll house. So many, trafficking in and out all day, I think the Tascam was a nursery. That was one of the weirdest of NYC experiences, the people in roach infested apartments, I'm talking overrun, who didn't seem to give a shit.

BTW forgot: If that's an original roach I wouldn't changed it, if it's dead I'd try and find something similar on ebay, at the least a modern exact repo.

Good idea. I'm totally selling it as genuine old Fender roach on eBay. As long as I'm listing it, I might as well claim that I can make out Bob Marley's face by staring at it long enough.

Reminds me of when my teenage boys ( back when ) brought home an amp into my ( then ) garage ( now my studio ) and it was alive with those critters. Caught it just as it arrived and out it went..... yuck.
