6G3 Post PIMV

Quick question. Would the attached edits work to be an effective PPIMV in the 6G3 circuit? Love the circuit, but would need manageable volume.

Yes, that's a Trainwreck Type 3 Master Volume and it's what I put in my 5F6A Bassman and it works great. It mixes the two phase inverter output signals together which kills the signal, like mixing matter and anti-matter. Sort of. :lol:

I wonder if a pot would actually fit next to the jack in the typical 6G3 chassis. The MV might have to be fitted to the back, though I'd prefer the front. I don't have much use for the Low gain Bright input.

That's asking for trouble, eg oscillation.
It may work ok, but far better to put it away from input circuits, eg ground switch, ext speaker holes.

Shielded cable would be used.

You can also just twist the two MV wires together since they're 180 out of phase it works the same way as twisting the heater wires to reduce rf transmission.
