I use a lot of these----- I get them from Ace Hardware:

They are PVC and are 16 gauge, so probably not what you're looking for.
But I like them. 9 feet long.

I needed a thinner 18 gauge AC cord for a 1970 Guild Superstar 1x15 amp a friend brought me to fix up------ I ordered a black one from Mouser along with a 1M pot for the reverb and a 1.5k/10 watt power resistor.

I sometimes use the old 2 conductor AC cords from vacuum cleaners to make up speaker cables.
