Guys
Anyone build the CJ11 amp? Looking it over what's with all the cold biased stages?
Two are 3.3K and the 3rd is a 4.7K...
Most Fenders I looked at are easy 1.5K biased.
Are those correct??

CJ 11 build question
In theory, theory is the same as practice. In practice it's different.
Re: CJ 11 build question
Yep...they are correct. I built one last year using one of the schematics I found online. It is a great sounding amp, and with the boost switch engaged it has a very nice overdriven sound. I run mine with a Scumback m75 most of the time.

Re: CJ 11 build question
I had this wired up on a breadboard for a while, and plan to do a permanent build soon. I tried some different values of cathode resistors and bypass caps. I came to the conclusion that it sounded pretty good with the values shown in the available schematic.
Re: CJ 11 build question
Great amp built one earlier this year. Here is my build thread.
I used mojo dijon caps and really liked the tone I got from them.
I also changed my power supply to 47uf - 22uf - 22uf - 10uf. I liked how the bass held together with these values.
