Handwired Princeton Reverb Reissue

Post by MeanMrMustard »

Had lots of fun rebuilding this reissue PR for a customer over the last couple months. Had a go with those new Mod caps from CE and have to say, they are amazing value. Read about one guy trying them out on a FB builders page who called one of the 25uf/25v he received horribly microphonic but I’ve had no such issue with my first use of them. Amp sounds great! Nice and tight and the reverb and trem are characteristically awesome. Stock Jensen is shite. Perhaps I’ll talk my customer into a G10M.

Been a long long long time since I last posted but I hope everyone is doing well!

Beautiful work! Very clean lead dress. I also really like those new MOD caps. Reasonably priced and, so far, no complaints.
