Quick question about your bias supply—
Do you have 2 separate 47u caps? I was a bit confused by your annotated schematic. I can see that the original cap is rerouted to the top of where the 10k is.

I tried putting this on 2 different deluxes, one the new build, and another on my early 70’s. I have a gz34 on the new build, and a 5u4gb, so pretty big difference in voltages.

With your bias resistor values, was getting way too much current at my lowest on bias pot. On my 70’s, I had to go back to a 470r, then reduce the 10k down to 1.5k. I also cut the connection from bias high to wiper, as I had so little range, I was worried I might not be able to adjust with new tubes.

I’m going to have to fix the bias on my kids amp in the field, so going to try a similar move to get the current down on that amp as well.

Yes. First resistor (1k2) sets the voltage range, then into the rectifier, then into the CRC, and finally through the trim pot and 15k series resistor to ground.
