I have a couple of Bandmasters and a Dual Showman with added effects loops and wondered what they would sound like with a Dumblator in the loop, basically adding another gain stage while enabling the amp volume to be turned up into the sweet spot but keeping the neighbors happy with the output volume on the Dumblator. Wow!! Much richer sound! I didn't add any effects in the loop, just the dumblator. My Dumblator is one of the small clones that Henry used to make at Redplate but I'm sure any of the other clones (or a real one) would work. It also adds 2 bright switches. Well worth checking out if you are wishing for that thicker, extra gain stage sound.
