68 vibro champ reverb 230v - 240v conversion

I’m in the UK and wanting to convert my vibro champ from 230v to 240v. It’s a simple job (swapping taps on the transformer) but haven’t been able to find out which wires to swap.

Does anyone have access to a schematic or a wiring diagram for the transformer?

if this is a simple job, then you should know which wires to swap (if the tap is existing) , otherwise it is very complicated

If you can't nail down a schematic then do this do you have another tube amp around?

If so pull all the tubes out of the VC and jump in the 6.3 filament voltage from the other amp.

Then go to the primary side wires of the VC and look for the wires with the highest voltage on them, these will be what your looking for.

Of course if you have or can borrow a veriac you can do the same thing.

it is also possible without any voltage, with the resistance (multimeter), measurement on the primary. if tap is existing. also is possible to make visual check on transformer. detect primary winding and and assume things without schematic. confirm with multimeter. then is on the taps with maximum resistance between, in this case need to be at least 3 primary taps. maybe more. it is easy for one who knows what he is doing. otherwise it is complicated.
in the first line it is written "simple" job but i get opposite opinion

It’s always a good idea for the initial power up to be via a light bulb limiter.
