Octal tube sockets in BF Vibroverb?

Post by tWreCK »

Hi!

What were the original (or did Leo use different brands?) octal tube sockets used in 60's BF amps?

Thanks/Peter

Over the decades of working on 100s of BF amps like I have done the stock Fender output tube sockets where black plastic.

That said I much prefer the two blade pincher type tan colored sockets like used in Marshallsand others since they hardly ever loose tension on the tube pins.
