2204 style build

Post by dcribbs1412 »

A simple 2204 style circuit.
A few TAG inspired mods (Jana)
Single input
A little over 400V B+
SLO style heater wiring
A little hum when dimed, but acceptable.
Not sure if elevating is worth it.

Nice D - what value resistors did you use at the bias junction?
220k or 150k maybe.
Jana's mods definitely add a lot of tonal options.

Got her in the cab
added a foot-switchable boost using some xtra boards I etched for a upcoming D-style BM build. Also a exhaust fan.
Kinda ended up going steampunkish for whatever reason.

Looks awesome! Great color with that gold plexi front.
Not familiar with the "Jana Mods" could you share those??

Thanks...
In theory, theory is the same as practice. In practice it's different.
