Still have to watch last vid but its looking great. With the setup of dual input pairs you have the basis for the mother of all one-wire mods! lol

Love the through board tube mounting. The spacing is great for making this design even more prone to reject noise so the amp should be nearly silent. I have more than all that packed in a small box chassis with signal wires crossing output and other terrible things without any penalty. :)

Hurry up and let's hear this monster!

Here's Video 5. I got the chassis almost completely done, and a lot of the board populated.

Hi Phil, as always thank you for the great work in keeping this site alive .

I was wondering were you got the blue fiber board for your Marshall build, I like it a lot. How thick is it?

I got it from McMaster-Carr, it's Garolite, (FR4: https://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/85345K31)

I bought 24"x24" 1/16" there are tons of other sizes and a few other colors, Black, Blue, Brown, and many sizes. I love this stuff so next order is likely to be the same in every way except a bigger baord to save money longer term. (36x48 is the largest they sell)

Thanks!

Nice work Phil!

Here's another source for the Garolite. Smaller pieces, more colors, even camo!?

Well in my case it's not 'quite' the right color of blue, but I was in the infantry, the blue I love is "Infantry Blue"

I have one of these amps build by the late David Root. Footswitch with relay for the two channels and a dynacomp compressor on footswitch too. He also added a bright switch and a cap on a switch to add bite. Sounds great!

Sorry, have major family fun with Thanksgiving etc, and have a little left to finish. I'll post a video probably in December, I finished the board, and am ready to install it be haven't had time to touch it since.

Stalled but not forgotten :(
