JTM1 Final Schematic

Post by inkomodo.dragon »

Hi guys, I've just read all the thread but can´t seem to find the last version of the schematic (03/09/14).

The last one I can find is the one from 28/08/14

Can someone please upload it?

Thank you very much to all of you who worked on this

Hello guys.

The last major revision is that of 28/08/2014. But it was posted on 03/09/2014.

The circuit is always being revised, but these small changes do not invalidate the previous circuits, less than a major change is announced.

Cheers 8)

Just to give you guys a heads up, I bought myself a Mullard ECC82 for my JTM1 (Which if you remember rightly is really a JMP1). Anyway I swapped out the JJ ECC82 with the Mullard and the difference was amazing. The amp has so much more clarity with the Mullard and the bass is a lot better. With the JJ I tried using JTM45 values for the 1st stage coupler and cathode bypass cap but it couldn't handle the bass. I reckon the Mullard will take it just fine, but thats an experiment for another day.

Anyway the valve cost me £16 + £4 delivery on ebay from Langrex (NOS Valve Dealer). http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271320551803? ... EBIDX%3AIT

Does anyone have a schematic of what we believe the JTM145 is, Matec's HTM1 with paralleled volume controls?

I'm very interested in this too.

I don't know if anyone has tried the schematic Littlewyan posted on the very bottom of page 4. That seems to be the closest I have seen to the two-volume control concept anyway. Wish we could have seen the control board in those pics build posted on page 16. Wish we could have got to know him...

I built the AX84 Swamp Thing many years ago a SE design rather then 1w but the preamp is similar and the dual gain pots work very well a dark/bright mix of V1a&b.
