The super bass 100 cheap way would be Ceriatone kit.

The www.tubeampdoctor.com has the 150w Bass amp kit.

Too expensive. Its the easy way out tho. Duane played a 50 watt super bass with c Vegas and something else. But his cab was a half open. Anyways I read that his amp had a few modifications to it. What they were nobody knows....or do they!?

What is the story on the 150 watt Super Bass kit?

I don't like KT-88's and Marshall's as the valve runs very cold and there is extra load placed on the amp. I don't think the tonal change is worth the hassle.

I think if you want to use KT-88's then use a transformer set that can run them properly.

The transformers seem to be dedicated transformers rather than using SLP-100 transformers. The power transformers on the older amps run hot, so it is good to see they've taken a smart option.

Is this an actual Marshall model as the circuit isn't familiar?

...and the 3 HXDA switches do we know what they do?
Bypass cap switches? Cathode resistors maybe? Split plate load?

Thanks...
In theory, theory is the same as practice. In practice it's different.

The 3 switches control brightness and gain of the two HX/DA.
