Ok...I was on vacation, but I'm back to the build now...

Wired up the OT and impedance switch. Decided to put a variable feedback pot in(100K) and lowered the feedback resistor from 47K (measured at 54K,,, carbon comp) to 33K. Also mounted the MetroAmp loop off the back because
the drilled holes don't match the board. Should be a lot better than the stock passive effects loop.

Got Merlin Blencowe's guitar preamp book and will try some ideas from it in here...

Oh....Built up a cab for it too. TRM pine convertible 2x12 with Scumback m55's. Cab sounds great!

Nice build! Did you make any changes or build the amp as designed?

More importantly, how does it sound? What are your impressions?

Cheers!

No changes used all of Ceriatone's components except impedance selector.

The amp is a harmonics monster and can get clean tones as well.

Has plenty of volume. I like my Hot Rod Plexi better which covers all the things this amp can do so I'll stick to that design.

Will sell this one after I get it into a combo format. :)

Been working on the cab for my SOY build, built too short so running Celestion 10" speaker.

Will be adding tolex and grille cloth soon.
