removing the LOW input on a 2204 while maintaining the tone
I will never use the low input jack on my 2204 build, I want to get rid of it and use that jack whole for a solo boost jack input. should I run 2 wires from the hot of the HIGH jack to the original LOW jack connection to maintain the tone and gain of the JCM800?

You can remove the Low jack and associated wires completely (red in attached schematic), and create one new connection (green).

that worked wonderfully! the only thing is I now have a little "chirp/squeak" in the amp when I palm mute the hell out of it on the lower strings. could this be a cold solder joint from the moves i just made?

it turned out to be the V1 LITERALLY went microphonic after I put this back together. swapped out the tube and blamm-o chirp is gone

I am following the Mojotone schematic. Does this look correct. I finish it but there is no gain. It seems is wired as the low input instead of the high.
