I am going to buy a PT and OT from Mag Components but am not sure which of their chokes to buy for the JTM. I would appreciate any and all suggestions.

Re: Buying a choke for JTM-45 build
Depends what you're after. From what I've heard the 20H Choke sounds cleaner than the 3H choke which sounds a bit more raw. These are probably subtle differences but I haven't tested this myself. I used a 3H Choke in my JTM50.
Edit: Also the 20H will have a slightly tighter bass than the 3H and the 20H will be kinder to your valves as it has a higher DC resistance, so there will be greater voltage sag under load .

I use the 40-18058 choke: Data is - 4 Henry @ 250mA choke w/ DC resistance (DCR) of aprox. 112 ohms. Perfect for JTM45 style amp.
