Is 18watt.com gone?

Post by Mr. dB »

18watt.com has been giving a "server not found" error for about two weeks, does anyone know what's up? Are they gone for good?

It's pretty slow. It's a subject that was pretty much fully sorted out by 2005... :)

I think the 18 watter is a great little amp but they weren't prepared to plagiarise from amps such as the AC-10. The normal channel could have been developed more.

My opinion is that it got too strict about forbidding discussions of anything but 18watt marshall's and alienated those that were interested in discussing other circuits. Once we have all built the 18watt successfully, that forum becomes irrelevant. Still a great simple little amp, but a bit of a one trick pony.
