Marshall 1959 MKII build too fizzy

Post by titser_marco »

Hi guys! Is it normal for Marshall type circuits to be on the fizzy end of the spectrum?

I wouldn't say fizzy no. What speakers are you using?

These things are quite high gain with a low-to-non-existent margin of stability; maybe it's breaking into oscillation under certain conditions - have you scoped the output?

Some people believe that all Marshall amps are "too buzzy"-------- I don't agree----- It's very difficult to tell, via internet, if your Marshall is working properly or not.

A YT vid may help.
