Gorgeous!
I nearly plotzed when I saw it... very nice work. That is just about what I have up next to build... a precision power supply 102(except with 4x6v6's). Thanks for the great photos!
I'm STILL too loud???

This post was accidentally started in the wrong forum, so mods do forgive me for my mistake.
Thanks oldepicker (hope it's not the nose you're picking).
6V6 would be nice. What PT would you be using? What voltage was on the plates on that rare Dumble that had 6V6?

That's a nice clean build! What made you choose metal film grid stoppers and slope?

Beautiful work.
Re: Another 102 build.
Are you guys countersinking the screws that hold those boards on the sides of the chassis? Didn't think those amps had any clearance on the sides when they go in the cabs.

What chassis and boards have you used?

102 build
That's the CEpedals chassis and AGBamplifiers boards.
And no I don't use countersunk screws. The cab has about 1/8" extra for tolex covering and screws.

Re: Another 102 build.
1st stage adds too much noise, that's why I went metal film. That's where your guitar signal is weakest and thus your SNR suffers.
I think the slope benefits from metal film for clean tone. I had one clone that had metal films all round everywhere when I first started. It was fantastic on clean - you just need to know how to wield that sterile clean to your advantage.
The carbon film were just too much mud and warmth for for me.
YMMV though.
