Aside from a main cap board the AC15 has TWO full boards  Sluckey put this together and squeezed into one thankfully.

Keep at it Lionel. I plan to look back on this thread, and the one at BYOC, when I build it at some point.

I'm letting you vet out all the frustration first

This is fun to follow, very nice so far, please don't drop it. Curious why you mixed brown Xicons and 150s, just what you had, tight space, tone fine tuning?

I thought this was going into a Marshall chassis, I would have expected upright can caps, where does the doghouse board go in this, or is it for a fender BF style chassis?

The Xicons were used because of tight space, it was designed to go in a 17" chassis but a 20" was recommended for extra room. No dog house I think, I will have to mock up and see if I can get it inside. The usage of top mounted transformers will give me a ton more room inside. There is one Mallory on the bottom just left of the Xicon I want to change too, I don't like the way I had to bend the leads. I'm taking it slow, I must've traced components ten times everyday to make sure I haven't forgotten something. Next purchase is gonna be a biggy, chassis and head along with all other parts

Nice. Lots of components per real estate there! I'd expect to see a lot of jumper wires underneath, but this layout is cleverly thought out. Kudos to Sluckey or whomever designed the layout. Hopefully it won't oscillate when you crank the treble... 8)

Dang Steve, you made that process look easy. I've been following at Hoffman every step of the way.
