Critical gear for tomorrow's gig

Post by xtian »

We're playing in the park tomorrow morning, for the Run for Food. Five thousand runners/spectators expected. Load-in is 7:30am, show at 9am.

Bought myself some thermals and fancy socks.

The gig is so close to my house, I'm just loading up my garden cart and pulling it down the street! That's one way to warm up for a gig.

Happy Thanksgiving!

About 283 Kelvin. Serious.

I know, I know. California, wimpy, wimpy whiner. But my hands slow to 50% speed at 60 Fahrenheit. And it's an exponential curve.

LOL, 283K! That's chilly but not cold. IMHO, you've have done better skipping the undies and getting fingerless cycling gloves. Socks are always a good idea. You're gonna sweat your butt off in those thermals. Stocking hat is a good idea, too, and easily removed.

You'd probably die here. Last week it was 48F... inside my apartment.

Glad, I just managed home. It is 1C (this is 33F) outside and the wind doesn't help it either...As they say lately "The winter is coming..." :)

The guy with the guitar! Event went great. 5800 participants! Featured the gospel choir on three songs. Super fun.
