interesting. The Miles tribute gig is very bright compared to the Robben ford band.

Do you guys have master volume caps on your #102's?

I don't and my amp sounds more like the RF band clip.


I'm going to try plugging into my Marshall 4x10 tomorrow to see how that changes things.

Regardles of what Robben uses for a guitar or amp he always maintains his signature sound.

does the bludotone ojai clone use those red knob twin type PT's? or does it use standard fender iron with the traditional diode string :-)

IIRC Brandon has his transformers made to his spec. So not manufacturers bought in.

yeah heyboer PTs, I've got one... they are just blackface copies with added taps for relays... I was curious what he was doing in this particular amp... those trannies he has made wouldn't work if he made the amp the same way dumble did...apparently... also those red knob twins weren't around when robbens amp was born, so they can't be original to the amp, must of been part of un update I think :-)
