I do agree, the shade of blue does seem different than older version. That's kinda weird, eh? You would think they would get this spot on considering it's history.

Don't have the cabinet yet. It's a pine 1x12 from Carlscustomguitars, good price. It'll be running a Maggie 113 build I've started.

Yes, that's my experience.Pdf64, when you say that the Gold is brighter than the Blue, is this your personal experience? I ask because this does not seem to mirror other reviews I have read
Regarding the shade of blue, has consideration been given to the possibility that on the vintage equipment, it often changes over years, likely due to exposure to UV?
