Wouldn't a reverse log pot be super steep at the beginning and have very little change at the end of its rotation?

I took measurements on a current production Alpha pot. I think I got it this year from Hoffman. I used an old Sunn knob which is numbered 0 to 10. Note that blackface Fender knobs are numbered 1 to 10. The reading at 5 is exactly at mid rotation and the stops are at 0 and 10. The pot is 100KA.

I measured some more pots. A 100K I got from Weber, an old Clarostat 50K I had laying around and a 1 Meg CTS that I picked up last week at the Dallas Guitar Show. The Mojo guy said the CTS was 15%, but he was wrong. I expanded the number of rotation positions to 20.
