My dad had bypass surgery 15 or 20 years ago, and he did something smart: after the standard period of rehabilitative physical therapy was over, he just kept going in to the rehab place -- and continues doing so to this day. I'm sure it has extended his life; he's 87 and still very active. I think it's a great idea if you can swing it; if you keel over on the treadmill, there's a nurse there to help you, which is better than relying on some bored kid behind the counter at Planet Fitness to get an ambulance there before you turn blue.

Thank you, Tom.

I was unclear.
The surgery is 10/7/2015.
At an ungodly hour of the morning, too.
Why do they always want to schedule procedures
for 0dark30?

Bob

Oh sorry, I missed that.

Yes you have to go through the admission and pre-op care.

They get you all ready and you basically wait until they are ready for you.

God bless Bob, we'll keep you in our prayers.

Don't worry. They won't start the actual procedure until after the banks are open and can verify funds transfer.
Just kidding. I hope all goes smoothly.
I bought a pair of shoes from a drug dealer the other day. I dunno what he laced them with but I’ve been tripping all day,

Okay, it's Wednesday. So I'm guessing Bob will fill us in over the next 24 hours. How much it hurts, how good the drugs are, the usual. I'll say a little prayer to hear the news. But I went to school with guys who do these surgeries for a living. They're robber barons, but competent.

Hope it went well Bob.
