this is what I'm basing my build off of, for now. I remember I cannot recall his name, but he is a user on this site. This were taken out of a real amp, IRC

I've got some more tweaking to do but my pre amp voltages are (97notes)
V1A
199/1.95
(206/1.788)
V1B
212/1.735
(209.6/1.716)
V2A
227/2.09
(227.5/2.03)
V2B
236/1.96
(229/2.03)
V3
1=319 (317)
2=36 (36.6)
3=57 (60.9)
6=302 (303)
7=36 (39.8)
8=57 (60.9)

V4-V7
3=460(465)
4=454(457)
5= -42 (-40.7)
6=458(465)

dropping string is 3.3k 12k 10k

B+
1=461(465)
2=458(458)
3=433(433)
4=368(361)
5=332(323)

You might try upping the value on the first dropping resistor (3.3K)

Try 4.7K and recheck your voltages.

ive got some new tubes coming in, should be today, and i'll recheck the voltages then. Just courius, why up the resistor for the phase inverter, the voltages are pretty much spot on with whats listed.

That resistor will change all the voltages since it is first.

well I tried the 220/150/180/120 and got it sounding the best I could, but swapped to 220/150 on both v1 and v2. Man what a difference made the amp come alive. V3 is around 300v v2 at 210 and v1 at 200. I'm thinking of swapping from the low gain od entrance to the normal 220k 100k trimmer. what are you guys belifes on the difference between the two?

Yeah I have the high plates on V1 and V2 as well.

Hopefully you changed the cathode resistors too.

I think your voltages are pretty close.

Try different tubes and measure voltages, there can be a difference between tubes.
