It was a very brief conversation, but still I asked him about his Dumble, and he didn't get too technical, but told me about the tweaking With Mr Dumble, and that he had an amazing ear for doing the right mods. He also said that he used Celestion 65 in his cab, but that was probably no secret?
He played a Blues DeVille ML and a brand New Les Paul 59 reissue, With New frets and a Seymour Duncan pickup in the bridge position. He was going to replace the other pickup too.

Thanks for that.
He doesn't have a great PR side to him. (especially photographs)
Although the time I attempted to talk to him, I could tell he wasn't feeling well.
End of tour.
Either fatigue or sickness.
So I didn't worry about it.

I spoke to him at the gig where I saw him, and he is a very down to earth guy, no airs or attitude at all.
Plus he plays his ass off.

He seems to be an honest, down to earth kind of guy with exceptional skills within his area of competence .... That's the way every man should be.
Diva or not? - Respect for Mr. D's work....)
