That was great. Man those vocal's through that old RCA sound amazing. I really like the open and spacey sound that comes with using only one mic. Just a fantastic sound overall.

Nice! I'd love to have gear like that one day. Be prepared to roll some tubes to find some quiet ones, thankfully it uses types that are all readily available.

Thanks for posting, Mark. I rebuild a lot of those Altecs... 436Cs, 1567As, etc.. Ampex stuff too. I love the way those things sound... Gotta dig out my monster build and get it tuned up.
