I just ordered one. They just needed the first part of the part number listed above: HTS-10359. Current price is $130 + $15 for shipping. All of the specs for this transformer can be found in a previous ampgarage thread by the name of "#0183 Power Trafo".dreric wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2017 3:02 pm When I built my 183, J Boarders have Heyboer make up some over spec'ed tiwn transformers. There were called "Black Face Twin Plus" HTS-10359 9961409. They have the heater current you want plus a tap for the relays! With the part # they will make one for around $120
Good luck!

Unfortunately the Heyboer transformer doesn't have export windings which is a shame, it would be a custom order for the export windings.

Mark, unless it's somebody's overrun Heyboer stocks very little if any products on the shelf. Thus, it's a basically a custom wind anyway. So if you wanted an export model, specify HTS-10359 with whatever export taps specs you desire, the price should be relatively the same unless you request M6 steel laminations.

Thanks Tone Merc, It sounds like the perfect Dumble power transformer as it's good for a variety of output stages. It should be good for headroom which I think/suspect a Dumble is all about of course I could be wrong.

Re: Power Transformer for 100 watt 183
A consideration is that if you run 6L6's the filament voltage will be higher due to the reduced current (-2.4A). The diagram shows 6.3V @ 7.5A, so with 4x 6L6 power section and a total of 4.5A, it might be on the high side.

Years back I started ordering my PT primaries at 123-125V and in some cases the filament at only 6V for this exact same reason.

Mark, the first Bluesmaster HRM I built I used a PT that I had I wound that IIRC, was 575 on the HT winding and 8A on the filament. I pulled that PT out as the amp was stiff as board. I have learned not to wander too far from an original.

Thanks that's good to know. It's interesting that sag is a good thing in these amps. Was it just the overdriven sound that was a problem or the clean tones too?

Stiff OD sounds can be good for rhythm tones, agreed they are bad for led tones.

Do you think 6.3V @ 7.5A is also too much for an EL34 100 watt circuit?

Re: Power Transformer for 100 watt 183
No, the undesirable situation is 4x 6L6 where the current demand is 2.4A less. In that case the PT is overrated by 3.5A. Even that might be ok if the voltage is set such that it will be a bit on the low side for EL34 and a bit on the high side for 6L6. Traditionally +/-10% is acceptable per the data sheets.
