My NY resolution is to finish the amps I’ve started—including proper cabinets and face plates... then, sell them so I can finance more amp builds.

The Quad verb should be an easy fix, what is wrong with it?

The first tube amp I ever bought has been collecting dust since 2010ish when it red-plated one of the four KT-88s (which were ~10 year old tubes at the time). I'm assuming by now it's also due for new filter caps since the originals are pushing 40+ years old. If I get that amp back up and running in 2018 it'll be a good year.

Good luck with the attenuator, I can't say that l've tried one that I've liked.

I currently own a Ted Weber 50 watt Mass, it's a mixed bag, some amps handle it better than others, but there is always some degradation.

Yes, I was just thinking that was time to build a low powered tube amp, instead 8)

An option may be the Marshall 1watt amps or amps such as the AX-84 Firefly. Mojotone has a kit for a 2 watt amp too.

I'm going to build a revibe . I love the classic fender reverb and vibrato and it will be nice to have a stand alone one for use with any of my amps.

I want to build a grab and go combo too, I've been looking at the rockster reverb and I think that may be the one as i love my rocket :D

Happy new year to everyone.

Gonna build more, repair less. I've already kicked out 90% of the solid state stuff.

Refine my shop setup.

Get my already functional CNC router to the point of making plates and chassis holes.

Setup new 3D printer and make amp parts like standoffs, etc..

Looking forward to some build posts from you guys... This place a a joy for me, especially when I see a documented build. :D

Another Dumble using the 4 pre A/N chassis I got last year. Also, finally design and order some nice faceplates to revamp a couple of old builds.

Build me an el84 Marshall style amp! Something like a 36 watt TMB style amp.
Ever since I built my Rocket I am loving the sound of el84's !
I would also like to get a CO2 laser to do laser etching on stainless steel or brass for faceplates or maybe a CNC router to engrave faceplates on metal.

Cheers

Learn to use a layout and schematic program. Build a Big Bottle Rocket Reverb and start thinking about an OD channel only D style with reverb, few knobs and no switches. Play more guitar.
