Just finished a JTM50 with lots of NOS components
Just finished this one up. Merren transformers, Mullard I61 v1, Sylvania JAN long plate v2, Telefunken smooth plate v3, Mullard Blackburn GZ34, haven’t put the XF2’s in yet. You can see the rest. I’ll make a video. Loud and clear and crunchy once it’s cranked up. I think it’s beautiful.

Great Build!!!
Congrats!
Do you have any troube with hum/buzz/hiss on higher volume levels?
Is this a Larry Grounding Scheme?

Amp is quiet. Almost dead silent. Yes, it’s Larry grounding scheme.

They are ARS 32 + 32 500 volt cap cans and the Erie 32 + 32 350 volt axial on the board.

Put KT88’s in it Friday evening. Biased them to 27 watts. Plate voltage is 453 with the solid state plugin. Been busy. Played it about 30 minutes. I’ll report more. The KT88’s are the Sino/Shaguang KT88-98 from TubeDepot. They have no holes in the plates and three getters. They are identical to the Tube Store preferred series.
