On a positive note, I sent a PM to someone yesterday. I received an email notification that he replied! What was once broken is now fixed? Could this be so?

Re: Known Problems with the Site
It's possible, for some period of time. Until either the specific IP of the forum OR the entire hosting provider gets blacklisted again, due to no fault of anything we've done.
Because we're not using proper email protocol, and I'm not allowed to fix that.

Email broken means no new users, which sucks because my original username was removed "LeftyStrat." Xtian on FB was able to reset my new account.
I have 40 years programming experience and would be glad to help. But if the current state of this board doesn't change, I'll just clone it into a new website and include discussions of amp simulators.
Has everyone stopped contributing?

I have been approving about a dozen new members per day. I've seen a small number of these legit new users posting, and two or three spam posts, which users I quickly banned.LeftStrat2 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 10:46 pm Email broken means no new users, which sucks because my original username was removed "LeftyStrat." I mean, I see a dozen or two dozen new posts every day from our members, so...

Unfortunately I can't use that account because I need to reset my password and email isn't working. I was told by xtian that account didn't exist.

Re: Known Problems with the Site
I don't post much anymore, but basically I am an I.T. Professional, I could fix the problem with email in about 20 minutes, but I cannot because I do not own or control the domain name. The person that does, Allyn told me point blank he doesn't care that the forum email isn't working and isn't worried about fixing it. That leaves literally 0 we can do about it.
