Looks great rootz!
I find that its even easier to form the suede (real suede) over the edges and curves than it is the vinyl tolex.
The suede smells better too LOL.

Absolutely Guy, very easy to work on and easier in some respects than with tolex. Adhesives work better with suede too, especially the water based contact glue I use.

And that smell, hmmmm!

I’m struggling to find grey heifer suede in Denmark, and probably need to buy online, sadly. Has anyone been satisfied with results using pig suede please?

I'm pretty sure that is what I used on the amp below. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Here are a few I've done recently... The Fusica (pink) one is mine. I agree that it is easier to work with than Tolex, although a bit more intimidating due to the expense. The results are stellar!

Have a look at the site of Mastrotto in Italy. You can order smaller quantities. The Riva line of suedes is what you need. Go to Mastrotto Express and select footwear. You can find the Riva line there. 60 colours!

Yes, it has one seam at the bottom. It works on heads but not so much on cabs, the hides aren't long enough.
