Interesting thing going on with the screen grids in the power section. Screens are wired in series, with 100R resistor between the two:

OK, I agree. But B+ hits pins4 of the left-hand power tubes first, then goes thru 100R resistors, then to the pins4 of right-hand tubes. Doesn't this mean only half the tubes are protected by screen limiting resistors?

I usually add screens to these when time/budget allows.

If there really is only two 100 ohm resistors then it looks to me that no matter how you cut it only the screens of the first two output tubes off the PI are getting the voltage drop.
