I've been planning a 70's style build ever since hearing one of the Lance Keltner clips on youtube of his Bludo. I think this is what sealed the deal for me: http://youtu.be/CNuVfyQv2AA?t=47s
I did manage to get one of the last silver CE chassis when they made them, so that was a great start. After following Taylor's build thread awhile back, I decided to try and use as many NOS parts in the build as possible.
I have accumulated most of the Piher resistors that I need. Unfortunately, alot of them are only 1/2W, but I think that's better than not using NOS at all. I also have accumulated quite the assortment of NOS and aNOS 6ps caps to use. The only value that I haven't come across yet are the 0.1uF 600V. However, I have 20-30 brown mallory PVCs that I may substitute in their place.
I've gotten most of my mechanical components mounted in the chassis, but have not started wiring yet. Quick picture below of the chassis in the cabinet.

I will update this over the winter with progress. I look forward to comments, advice and criticism.
Thanks,
Steve
