Tolex

Tolex just takes time,You get better and better doing it.The goal for me was to be able to do corners that dont have to have metal to hide your cuts.I like to do any seems on the bottom.Having the gun to heat up is nice. You did a nice job.It gets easier every time!!!The choices for tolex are huge,I did get some old tolex from the 70"s from Ceaser Diaz old basement. He had at least 6 rolls of the green and man that stuff was thick.Really durable material.Im out now,I got one other brown from him I loved, cant find it anywhere.I wish I could find this color,I got a 2x12 and two heads out of it,Mikey

Yea thanks,I have to bite the bullet and get them from Mesa Boogie,Im going to try to find a leather guy to make me some.Im paying I think 15 bucks a set.The last time I asked for them they got a little funny and asked why I want so many. The trick is to soak them in hot water for about 20 seconds and predrill the holes. They do look nice and come in black, dark brown and light brown.Your cab looks very good!!!

That looks sweet,A very cool amp to have.Fenders will always be coveted.
As a kid all I wanted was marshalls and boogies but I tell all these kids today,By the time your 50 you will be playing blues. And there nothing like the clean tones in fenders and the distortion and breakup inbetween is awesome.Have fun,Mikey
