New Express head cab - photos!

Post by ScottW »

Just got word from Distortion (Larry Mann) that the Express head cab he's been building for me is complete and ready to ship. Here are some pics. Now I definitely have to stop stalling, get off my butt and build the amp!

Larry, makes some of the most beautiful cabs I've ever seen! He made me a "special" one that I will post when the amp is done!

That is beautiful...now you have to make an equally righteous amp! 8)

Yep, it's stunning. I don't have any furniture in my house that can compete with this!

I think it's time to order parts and fire up the soldering iron!

Larry built my Wreck cab as well (the bubinga one here on the forum). I love when people do a double take and go "WHAT'S THAT??!!"

The bubinga cab - wow - that's the one that sealed the deal for me to call Larry. No doubt people do double takes!

That is one nice head box! Cant wait to see & hear the finished amp. Ive always liked the idea of not covering up beuatiful wood grain.

Ha, no, Larry told me he put in the faceplate just to take a picture and didn't notice the orientation. Rest assured it'll fit perfectly the regular way.

For now, we can all pretend it's the right way.
