Re: Where to find Trainwreck Logos?
A Trainwreck logo seems like an ideal item to have 3d printed.

Re: 5E3 and 5F6A PCB gerber files
Thanks for posting that Lauri. I took your schematic file and modified it for a Tweedle Dee Deluxe. Now I'm looking at assigning footprints for components and it looks like all of your components come from some Uraltone library - is this your company? Are none of these components similar to standard...

Re: What makes an amp clean up well when rolling back?
I'm having a hard time understanding your comment of "power supply compression." I can understand this in the context of a lightly filtered B+ power supply like many old Fender tweed amps where waveform peaks will naturally be limited (compressed) by PS sag. But the TW has a PS that's stiffer than m...

Re: Boogie Studio .22 Repair
Gonz - I don't know exactly what the schematic is of your MB but I have a .50 cal + that has an effects loop that is bypassed by a NC contact on one of the 1/4" jacks when the loop is not used. This NC connection went bad on my amp and caused a bunch of intermittant noise. If your amp has an effects...

Re: Express build burn-in
Burn-in schmurn-in - practice your guitar through it and the amp will eventually be "burned-in" and you'll be a better guitar player to boot!

Re: Submerged guitar amps, any tips on salvage? HELP!
I once bought a Champ II from an insurance salvage place that was from a W. Virginia flooded music store for $20. Speaker and grill cloth were shot of course. Pulled the chassis out and hosed it off with a garden hose. Let it dry for a while and it fired right up. Been working flawlessly ever since ...

Re: Mouser for a transformer?
You are correct Mr. Fowler - I used the 272JX which is 115 VAC only. The "export" compatible version is the 372JX. Big difference in price - 272JX is $78.69 and the 372JX is $149.95!
