Cab Corners - Countersinks - Suede Leather

Howdy y’all! Quick question. I’m wrapping a guitar cabinet in suede leather. I’m using these corners here…

And these corners here…

As you can see in the product photos, the corners need to be countersunk. My question for you good people, do I try to countersink before I wrap the cabinet in leather, or do I countersink after I wrap the cabinet in leather? Is there more risk one way or the other? What have you people tried?
I saw this post here from a while back…

If I were to wrap AFTER countersinking, I was thinking I could mark the holes on the jig, then wrap the inside of the jig with leather to help with the offset of material. Is this a dumb idea, should I simply wrap it first?
Lend me your thoughts please! And thank you!
