Ah i dont play two loud i have the dumbleator low , but not loud to me is loud to my sound man !! My amp is like a 80’s low plate in a fender Bassman chassis , but this seems cool, take care

Cool, do you have the exact lay out of that dumble ,? I liked how with all that gain which i dont use that much gain but when the treble tone pot was opened up it still had that tele bite , i wish there were more audio clips of that dumble with a tele !! Since I did the layouts on both 2nd and 3rd generation amps i'll respond. The 2nd Generation layout was not taken from any one specific amplifier but a combination of many from that era from a person who had been in and worked on many of these amps, so this was the common theme that ran through all of them (Design and components)
I tend to think of the 3rd generation as being an upgraded version of a 2nd generation. These were alterations done mainly with the tone stack and RGU-59 coax. Both 2nd and 3rd generation amps share similar sonic personalities!.It wasn't until the later transition 4th generation amps that were later radically modified. Both 2nd and 3rd generation are wonderful amplifiers
Max posted the layout of the 3rd generation being closest to Karl's O.D.S

3rd generation made around the 1978-1979 Ser# around 60-75..
Since these alterations occurred around a 2 year time frame and more than 1 or 2 amps and for the sake of accuracy should be referenced as 3rd generation ODS and shouldn't be looked upon as tweaks or custom voicing s for a certain customer..

1 Treble: 250KA treble pot

2..005 soldered between the wiper and top of the Bass pot

3.Black RG59/U 75 ohm foam - similar looking as the Tandy Wire RG59/U 75 ohm foam in ODS #094,(see below picture) but without the "Tandy Wire" label

Although this layout wasn't taken from an actual 3rd generation specimen perhaps I'll run across one here in the future..If so I'll make another separate layout better reflect the accuracy's of that amp (3rd Generation)

Love that example of the tele max did in the 70’s style amp. Love to talk about that amp and what was used?

AFAIR he used his Fender Nocaster for this track and his 3rd generation ODS 50WX Combo (hardwood cabinet similar to the late 70ies early eighties Boogie hardwood cabinets). AFAIR the speaker in this cabinet at the time of this recording was an Altec 417-8H SERIES II. The original metal dust cap had been replaced by a paper dust cap. You can get some glimpses of this combo on this video (No Nocaster ). "Village Feeling" starting around 18:00. Have fun!
