I have 2 1971 SF bandmasters that have been modded for a "D" style drive channel by Jimmy Somma at Sommatone. both Sound very good to me. Not the same as an exact clone, but very nice sounding drive channels. Don't want to give details or gut shots without his permission. Suggest you call him. Than...

I'll study the final layout in that Super Twin conversion and also the DLite schematic. I'd like to keep the Fender Reverb and Tremelo.
