Help Me Choose a Tube Set with a $600 budget for my SSS
Looking to put some decent tubes in there. No specific goals sonically other than to tighten up the bottom end which at the moment can be a bit flubby. I don't know much about Tubes as far as characteristics so I figured I would defer to the wealth of knowledge you guys have. Any input on this would...

Re: converting a ceriatone SSS from #4 spec to #2 spec?
Did the recommended eq pot changes from Nik and it put the amp right where I wanted it. The controls are in a much more useable range. Gary, I wouldn't doubt if your amp came with the values that mine has in there now. I'm really loving the amp. Looking forward to rotating some tubes through there ...

Re: converting a ceriatone SSS from #4 spec to #2 spec?
I’ve read that the components used in this type of amplifier are really important. What is inside my SSS? We use a combination of parts custom-made for us to our specifications (power transformer, output transformer, choke, high-temperature / low-ESR electrolytic capacitors, inductors, custom Alpha...

converting a ceriatone SSS from #4 spec to #2 spec?
So I took the plunge and bought one of the first runs of this amp from ceriatone. I've posted some clips over on tgp with it and while it sounds good, I'd like to tweak it. The amp can be very trebly, even with the treble at 10 o'clock and the high filter on the second to last selection. I do play w...

Editable SCH file that is simply a redrawn version of the one LeftyStrat posted in this thread. Compare with the one that LeftyStrat posted. Please assume this probably contains ERRORS !!!! This is intended for discussion purposes only and is NOT correct to use as a guide for building a SSS type am...
